Seaside Park is the quiet twin of Seaside Heights. Here the dunes are protected and the boardwalk is only at the north end of town. Seaside Park is bordered on the north by Seaside Heights and it's amusement arcades, rides and boardwalk, and many vacationers here get to enjoy all the activities of Seaside Heights with the natural beauty of Seaside Park.
Seaside Park activities and attractions center around the sea: Fishing, surfing ,swimming, boating and sailing. Seaside Park is the sport oriented neighbor of Seaside Heights - less then 1/3 miles from Island Beach State Park where untouched nature along the shore is the main attraction. The town is on a barrier island of Barnegat Bay.
